Account Executive (Junior)

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience assisting as part of customer service/warehouse logistics team
  • Related College Degree (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Knowledge of fashion.
  • Computer literate.
  • Exceptional team player, able to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Superb customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as high attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and high level of initiative are competencies required in this position.
  • Bilingual a plus; Spanish


This position should possess a high level of involvement with the customer service, planning, distribution and inventory control of a major fashion brand under limited supervision. Ideal candidate will provide key support within the following areas of responsibility:

Job Functions:

  • Management and follow up of all customer service verbal and written communications.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and claims in a timely fashion.
  • Completing, submitting, and tracking client requests.
  • Work closely updating client databases per contractual and operating instructions.
  • Supervise and follow up the receiving, merchandise allocation, picking and packing as well as the shipping of client
  • Monthly orders in the warehouse floor.
  • Document and reconcile all delivery times, manpower and transportation costs for monthly closing of the billing process.
  • Coordinate and control the order cycle and update associated information systems.
  • Analyze data and monitor performance and improvements as needed.
  • Monthly reconciliation of inventory movement for the assigned account.


Please note that this is not a field/sales position. Incumbent will be performing functions from a desk/client service setting.

RECEPTIONIST

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Associates Degree Office Administration
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/French a PLUS
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the industry within reception or office related position preferable
  • Customer Service oriented and punctual
  • Phone etiquette skills and demeanor

Job functions:

  • Operating of company switchboard answering, screening and forwarding calls for all Departments and Divisions
  • Take messages and route them as necessary
  • Utilize paging system to announce calls
  • Arrange conference calls connecting all parties involved
  • Follow up on switchboard maintenance
  • First contact to greet visitors and announce to internal departments or divisions
  • Manage the inventory levels of postage supplies and reorder
  • Keep log of business contacts
  • Follow up on extension number changes and assignments and send updates to office personnel
  • Address business matters utilizing e mail, word, and other software tools
  • Provide office administrative support as required
  • Receipt and process Incoming Mail
  • Operate office machines, copiers and mail room equipment

Import/Export Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the logistics business required, certificates in Import/Export a plus.
  • Knowledge of Import-Export guidelines including but not limited to Customs brokerage, C-TPAT, NAFTA, ISF, TSA, F&W, etc.
  • Ability to deal with crisis and conflict and work weekends as required
  • Must be computer literate and possess excellent written, analytical and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and in another foreign language is a plus.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations relating to the handling of international freight.
  • Manage and prioritize the movement of import/export freight according to services level agreements and perform all required freight functions in support of overall international requirements.
  • Stay abreast of advances and changes in the transportation and logistics industries as well as general business developments.
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary tools/resources to achieve assigned tasks in a quality/efficient manner.
  • Monitor/Handle administrative functions, such as broker statistics and error/reject reports.
  • Prepare and send New Hire and termination letters to US Customs.
  • Manage the Import/Export team to make sure they are meeting all deadlines and following government requirements.
  • Assist with Collections/ Passenger Arrivals/ Departure at the Airport
  • Work closely with others supporting the following administrative functions: Sales, Finance, Accounting and Supply Chain.
